Join TEAM BAM! to honor Brandon Avery Macko and help create awareness for mental illness and suicide prevention. Brandon was a bright light stuck in a dark tunnel. He sought help for over 4 months but couldn’t get the help he desperately needed. Our mental health system let him down. Brandon lost his battle on 11/19/22.

We walk to raise awareness so others don’t have to feel the devastating heartache of losing a loved one to suicide.

The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
